Après avoir subi un lourd revers à Dijon (-26) ce qui a coûté la place du coach, je m’attendais à une réaction d’orgueil des Manceaux et un choc psychologique.
C’est ce qui s’est produit avec une excellente prestation offensive (65,5% aux shoots), notamment de Brandon Taylor (32 points à 10/11 aux shoots). Il a bien été aidé par Obi Emegano (17 à 7/9) et Cliff Alexander (16 à 7/8).
C’est la deuxième défaite de la saison en douze matchs pour des Metropolitans apathiques défensivement.
